It's a good habit to check in with the governing bodies of the sports that you represent in your business a couple of times a year.

You will find research, surveys, analysis, rule changes, and new approaches to teaching the sport and the skill required to play it.  This could help your business through the understanding of what model team coaches are being trained to follow.  You will be able to speak the same development language and demonstrate how your services fit into the model.

Hockey Canada has posted, under their NCCP section, the training environment and the emphasis on certain skills by age group and skill level.

You will also find a link to the Participant Development Model which shows player movement opportunities based on age and skill level.  This could help you align your training program and products available for sale.
