When a user taps or clicks your card in their timeline, their email address is automatically shared with you for follow up. Creating a card is fairly simple. Select an image file that represents your company or brand, give it a headline, provide a call-to-action and a link to a website, PDF or video for the user to access more information. The card is saved so you can attach it to a tweet to send immediately, schedule it for sending later or include it in a paid campaign.
You'll need to set-up your advertising profile with Twitter first. Go to http://ads.twitter.com and login with your Twitter account, follow the instructions, click on the Creatives menu at the top of the page and select Cards to create your first one. Have a look around the portal for other tools that will help you manage your social presence.
